About Us
Action on Development and Humanitarian Aid
Action on Development and Humanitarian Aid (ADHA) is a U.S.A-registered non-profit Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) focused on disaster relief and social justice. It works directly with affected communities and partners, including NGOs, UN agencies, and governments. ADHA enhances disaster preparedness, provides relief and recovery support, and helps marginalized groups achieve sustainable livelihoods. It also ensures access to essential services like water, sanitation, health, and education, ADHA works in Chad and Sudan.

Livelihoods
Livelihoods: The activities in this sector will focus on the following results:
- Develop the appropriate Livelihood strategy and guidelines to help streamline intervention within the relevant national and state strategy.
- Ensure that vulnerable people have access to sustainable income security activities
- Enhance awareness of stakeholders on social protection, social pension and cash-transfers
- Strengthened capacity of our partner organizations to manage livelihood interventions.
Emergency Response
Emergency Response: we will focus on the following results:
- Revise and upgrade our SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures) for emergency & humanitarian response package.
- Enhance capacity of our staff and partner organization in emergency response
- Build capacity of our staff, partner organizations and communities in disaster preparedness and disaster risk reduction
- Improve awareness & response to Accountability to Affected People (AAP) in a humanitarian & emergency context.
Resilience and Disaster Risk Reduction
Resilience and Disaster Risk Reduction: we will focus on the following results:
- Ensure needs and rights of vulnerable groups in a humanitarian & emergency context.
